Privacy policy

Data we collect

• Account data - your email address, name, and hashed password when you create an account.
• Chart and conversation data - the charts, prompts, messages, and generation history you save in StitchLark.
• Usage data - information about pages visited, features used, and product activity, collected through Google Analytics 4 and application logs.
• Payment data - Stripe handles payment details. We store subscription and customer identifiers needed to manage billing, but we do not store full card numbers.
• Uploaded reference images - if you upload a photo for photo-to-pattern generation, we upload that image to Vercel Blob storage and associate it with the related AI conversation so we can generate and refine your chart.

How we use your data

• To create, store, and deliver your charts and related AI conversations.
• To send transactional emails such as account, billing, and password-reset messages.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To understand product usage and improve StitchLark.
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and security issues.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your data for ad targeting.

Third-party services

• Neon - PostgreSQL database hosting for account, chart, and conversation data.
• Stripe - payment processing and subscription billing.
• Resend - transactional email delivery.
• Google Analytics 4 - usage analytics.
• Vercel - application hosting, CDN, and Blob storage for uploaded and generated image assets.
• Google Gemini - AI generation. Prompts and uploaded reference images are sent to Google's API to generate charts.

Data retention

We keep account, chart, conversation, and generation data while your account exists unless you delete specific items earlier or ask us to remove them.

Uploaded reference images may remain stored with the related AI conversation until you request deletion or we remove them from storage. StitchLark does not currently offer a self-serve account deletion flow. If you want your account or uploaded data deleted, email hello@stitchlark.com.

Cookies

We use one httpOnly authentication cookie (sf-auth) to keep you signed in. Google Analytics cookies are loaded only when consent is given in regions where consent is required. We store that consent choice in local storage under cookie-consent.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data. To make one of those requests, email hello@stitchlark.com.

You can delete charts from the product today, but account deletion and uploaded-image deletion requests are currently handled by support.

Children

StitchLark is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact hello@stitchlark.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you by email or through the product before the updated version takes effect.
